Track Day Insurance

Our baby was born 7/07/06, the woman had an extra week stay due to complications and has been an ongoing thing to lose track of how the demand for health insurance in. Health insurance is telling me that I waited too long for my new baby on my health insurance plan of the company due to IRS law and now, of course, all claims for medical expenses are not met and bills are due . You would appreciate any suggestions or advice.
