Texas Property And Casualty License

Posted on February 24, 2010.
Texas Property And Casualty LicenseWhat age did you get an insurance license in Texas?

I am 16 and have worked to Allstate over a year and want to get a license and Casualty, but people in my office think you must be 18 years. Are there exceptions?

I work for Allstate in Ohio and in every state, you must be 18 years and there are no exceptions! I got my driver's P & C the day after I turned 18. Because you deal with the contracts of Corporations, you must be 18 years to treat this information as social security numbers, etc. It's worth waiting for, insurance is a great career!

Yes, you must be 18 years. No exceptions.
