Do I file taxes if my only income is SSI (Supplemental Security Income)? It does not really make much sense for the government to give money and then ask for some to return.
No, you do not have to file if your only income is SSI. SSI does not count as income for repayment. And just because you produce does not mean that you must repay. I do not know where you got that idea. SSI is not taxable. even if you decided you file wouldnt even pay nothing.
ALSO SSI habit you do something even if you had someone else to claim on your taxes.
SSI is not income OR you report on a tax return, so no you do not file if your only income is SSI. Even this year, you do not file, since SSI is not qualifying income Stimulus Program
I just want the file if you have someone to claim on your taxes. But you should not if you do not want. I wouldnt even mess with him personally because you get SSI.
you must file this year if you want to get control of government fiscal stimulus is broadcast, you need to qualify
