Posted on January 28, 2010.
National Insurance CalculatorHow do I pay taxes and insurance on the national?

im 19 I live in Sussex in England and before tax national insurance n i earn £ 14.500 a year to around £ 1200 per month in my tele-sales job I'm paid monthly (5th of each month )

Can someone tell me how I would have to pay tax and national insurance, I've gone on a few calculators tax and national insurance, and both say I should have about 975 pounds at home per month after taxes and insurance is taken

is it right or can someone give me an answer deffinate how I will be left after deductions Thank you Th!

Suppose you have a normal personal allowance, you have to pay tax on £ 9,065 at 20% and 11% in NIC. Leaving a net £ 11,689.

need to know (1) the tax code your employer uses, and (2) when did you start this work and if after April 6, what was your income before that?
