Mce Insurance

Mce InsuranceExchange insurance with MCE?

Hello,

I currently ride a Yamaha TZR 50 motorcycles and I'm looking to upgrade to a 125 Aprilia RS when I'm seventeen years old in May

I am sure others fire and theft with MCE about £ 300 a year with helmets, jackets, gloves all included.

Does anyone know how / ERM would allow me to change my insurance for a different bike before the insurance expired?

Should I just pay the difference between my current insurance and insurance 125cc?

I guess it will be a little more with me still being young and a larger cc bike.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can modify the insured vehicle at any time, you must, simply contact your agent or company and give them the details. As this is a more powerful engine, and probably more expensive, it will probably cost you more, but the company must charge you the difference.

You should be able to change your bike to the renewal date of origin and just pay any price difference for the rest of your policy under the new bike is one that is acceptable to your insurers and you the correct license to ride it.

You say you have paid 300 pounds. If the new bike cost £ 400 for insurance for a year, then you take 300 from 400 which leaves you with 100 a‚¬ to pay. You then divide by 12 and 100 pounds multiplied by the number of months remaining on your policy. So if you have 6 months to go then the extra 50 pounds must be more adjustment costs of the insurer or broker may ask.

ERM is a broker and have been very competent bike for a very long time. I am sure they will be happy to give you an idea of the extra you'll pay if you give them a call.
