If prosecutors know that part which has no relevant information that may help their cause, but resides in Florida, not New York, they can subpoena the Florida resident? If yes, then how can they give their testimony in another state, they have to come to New York to testify in court?
subpoena from New York to Florida is good (assuming they can find and serve the person) under the faith and credit "clause of the Constitution and decisions / rules to explain and clarify the clause.
