Malpractice Insurance

Malpractice InsuranceInsurance against malpractice?

I was wondering if someone could please tell me how to get insurance against malpractice? I'll try to go to college this spring for the EMT-Basic course that says I'm having. But I do not understand espically since I am a student seeking to become an EMT or paramedic.

Contact an independent agent, an agent Natiowide. If they are unable to write with their "standard" business, ask for an estimate thought a wholesaler. You may be able to get a quote with a national association for EMTs. Ask others who are ambulance technicians or instructors. They should have an idea of where other students have obtained their insurance.

I've never heard of a training program in any occupational health program that does not cover students it is clean. You should check with your clinical instructor, you're sure to find that there is a policy in place for students.

Malpractice insurance coverage is a commercial line.

He cover you if as a PSP, you've responded to provide care to someone at some point an error occurred in the personal care that led to injury.

As sad as it may seem, people who believe they are somehow not made better when they have an accident or are sick .... instead of being grateful for the fact that they have been supported rather than die ..... actually pursue ambulance providers, including.

This kind of suit is fueled by greedy personal injury lawyers who do not care about resolving potential "loopholes" in the system, but intend to make as much money as possible .... for themselves.

The courts are full of these lawsuits against EMTs frivolous and it would be wise to contact a commercial insurance agent and ask about coverage for malpractice.

For an EMT, I do not think the premiums would be almost as high as for EMT.

Depending on who you work (public vs. private ambulance services), the limits of liability are different. Usually, those who work for a medical emergency sometimes have liability limits that keeps the premiums down.
