Hartford Variable Annuity

I Hartford variable annuities, and I continue to lose money. Is there someone who can advise me, whether or not I should get rid of it? I still have $ 38,837.60 $ 21,499.00 and lost this year. I'm with a very fixed income and I need someone to advise me on this. How long before you plan to annuitize? If you have more than 5 years I would say keep it. Is there a minimum guaranteed return? There would likely tax consequences of this departure. Sorry not very important, given the details. Make sure that the allowance is your timeline and risk profile - I know that may be water under the bridge, sorry.
