The group deferred annuity is an annuity and is not payable for another 17 years.

So .... offering a $ 3K profit, over 17 years on $ 15K or non-compounded annual return of 1.17%. Not too appealing.

Besides, can you transfer your interest in the group annuity me? If you can, why not sell it ...... Oh, it's the surrender charge, is not it?

ps, rents are generally lousy investments.
