Fema Nfip

Fema NfipWhy should I pay for insurance against flooding for those who choose to live in a flood plain?

Private insurers refused to provide insurance against flooding for people living in flood plains. Yet people continue to move there. Thus, insurance against floods federal funds from the government. When will we stop this socialism?

I ask this same question for years. The federal government has no authority to act as an insurance company to start. He has no power after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. He has no power after the hurricanes in Florida or Louisiana. I nave never been a straight answer from anyone in the marsh (DC). Good luck if you decide to try.

Please do not waste my time with "the provision of well-being," whatever. Rebuilding a city where thousands of people choose to live below sea level does not provide welfare the majority of the population of 300,000,000. Also, read Federalist Paper No. 41.
