Earthquake Insurance Companies

Posted on February 20, 2010.
Earthquake Insurance CompaniesDo insurance companies are deductible at 15% for the earthquake?

In Los Angeles, CA?

We are travelers, they have a deductible of 15%, was wondering if other insurance companies have a better number? (Better for us that is)

Thank you! And God bless your life!

This may be normal for your area. I saw it as low as 5%, but not in California.

There will always be a percentage. . but the only way to get a real answer is to ask your agent. Travel agents are also other companies. . . to ask them, do you have companies that offer low earthquake deductible.

Yes. Most insurance companies have the deductible amount in dollars that is $ 50,000 / - 5% of claim amount is greater.

It may vary on price plans and coverage, and the region. I saw some at $ 0, and others at 5%
