Disability Insurance Pregnancy

After applying the disability of pregnancy, there will be 8 days before I get the insurance check. Can I take paid leave in those 8 days? T it make me not qualified to receive disability insurance pregnancy? Thank you.

That's what I did. I had 14 days holiday and use it before my short term disability kicked in. It was good because I was able to receive my full salary for the first two weeks. The short-term disability is only 60% of my salary.
