Where can I find the best rates insurance companies? My friend and I have a photography business. We try to find the best insurance rates for businesses, particularly for equipment and health?
Try using yellowpages.com seeking brokers group health insurance in your area.
Do not call your auto and home agent, they specialize in property and causality insurance. You need someone who specializes in health insurance.
A broker represents several carriers and can help you sort through all the different insurance companies and plan options in your state
Find a broker who represents several carriers. Some of the major carriers for insurance companies are CNA, Hartford, Safeco, Allied and Zurich. Do not get a single quote. Remember that all brokers charge fees, and if they do, try to negotiate.
For health, finding health ins experts. Make sure you get several estimates. Do not deal with a broker who does provide at least three quotations.
Also, never call a dealer with the telephone or Internet. Ask friends who they use. There are many brokers out there crapy. Find someone you trust.
OK, there is no universal solution, all the best.
With only two of you, you're most likely looking at the individual plans of insurance, anyway. Some states allow you to be a group with two employees, but most require at least three.
You need to find a local independent agent who can assist you in equipment, liability, workers comp image, and health insurance. Because the company is likely to show workers model of cover, before a health carrier will take you on (they do not want to be on the hook for WC claims).
http://autoinsurance.bebto.com - you can try this company. I personally have their car insurance to small businesses. As I know it's a less costly for businesses in my area (NYC).
